This was our first time coming here and we will definitely be back. I had jerk salmon, mac n cheese and greens. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Our waitress Bri was very sweet and attentive even in this busy environment. Also had the opportunity to meet the GM and she was a beautiful person. Very good service and looking forward to my next visit.
I would to give a BIG ups to Karen the Manger and our Server Thor. The service was phenomenal and the food was perfect. Our family attended here after the funeral of our uncle and decided to dine there. Everything about our experience was amazing and made us feel so welcome. I would definitely be back for another event. It was a party of 30 and our food was served in a timely manner not to mention Everything we order was hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend Dixie Kitchen. Again, Thank you Karen your professionalism and gratitude you showed to my family was so heartfelt and very much appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant got some absolutely delicious food, the baked macaroni and cheese is the best hands down. I love everything they have to be honest, you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. Karen and Thor are my all time favorites. We are frequent customers and travel three hours to come and dine. We have been eating at Dixie Kitchen for 18 years from the old location to the new location. Overall great experience!!
I had the opportunity to attend this place for a family birthday dinner. Thr atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The food was good I just had a simple item from the menu which was the peach bourbon glazed wings they were okay because they were tiny and the swamp water cocktail which was on point but i wished i had more but thr presentation was good. The other people in the party had the other menu items like the sweet potatoes, green beans, Mac and cheese and fried catfish with the fried French tomatoes which were all good. Will be back
We've been here a number of times and the food has always been good. We usually do a couple of appetizers, either shrimp etouffe, jambalaya, or gumbo. All of them are very good. The catfish is tasty and I love that they have Louisiana hot sauce. Our main dishes this time were pasta, gumbo, and red beans and rice. Everyone was very pleased with their choice. Be aware that the tip is added for the table
Dixie kitchen was very good. The food, the service and atmosphere were welcoming. They do add 18% gratuity to all checks, one check per table and you can’t use your phone when ordering. I had the gumbo and jerk chicken. Jerk chicken had no spice but was still flavorful. Gumbo was delicious. Took home a catfish for my wife and let’s say 10/10 and cooked to perfection! Mac and cheese as well as the greens were delightful! Will definitely come again
Came on a Thursday afternoon when Dixie Kitchen wasn’t as busy compared to a weekend. The food was excellent, the service was fast and friendly! The food was fresh! I ordered the gumbo bowl, fried green tomatoes and pork chops it came out in a decent manner and the drinks got me lit!
